Several years ago I met an amazing family. They were referred to me by one of my cousins. We started with a senior portrait session for their eldest daughter.
No too long after we photographed a family portrait session…
Then a couple years later we shot an engagement session.
And now, an unforgettable wedding. I'd like to share some of my personal favorites from that special day.
You can get lost in the technical aspect of photography or you can get lost in the eyes of a beautiful bride, the watery eyes of her father as he walks her down the aisle, or the quiet moment between a bride and her groom as the organized chaos of planning a wedding begins to subside.
It's been both an honor and a pleasure to be able to witness and help document some important milestones for this family. Funny thing is I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to shoot this wedding if it weren't for that senior portrait session a few years ago. This family is just as beautiful off camera as they are when they stand in front of it. They've always treated me as one of their own and they believed in me and my photography from the beginning…when all I had was one camera and one lens.
These are the kind of relationships I hope to build with all of my clients. I'm inspired by their stories and I look forward to the next beautiful thing that happens in their lives - whether I have my camera in my hands or not.
