Their truth is more magical than any fairytale. I say that because I've been creating photographs with David and Eva for years now and I've been able to witness some awesome moments in their lives with my own eyes. I'm so honored and blessed that they have asked me to bring my camera along their journey of life, love, and family. Here are a few shots from our latest shoot.
The relationship I try to build with my clients before, during, and after a shoot contributes to the honesty and sincerity of their final images. It's hard to explain but there's something to be said about the symbiotic relationship that can be created between your camera and the subjects that stand in front of it. Every photographer knows what I'm talking about. Call it a "zone" or "groove" but when you're in one, you feel unstoppable as a photographer.
When photography becomes "transactional", when it's based on who charges "the least", or when a photo session is "one sided" - something will be lost in translation. But when you're given the opportunity to work with clients who trust your vision, who believe in your work, and know that your passion for photography is your livelihood and not just a hobby - meaningful images will be created. Guaranteed.
